Interloop Hosiery

Hosiery, being main business of Interloop, is of significant importance to the Company. Its production operations are designed to produce both high mix low volume customized as well as standardized products. With implementation of Lean, Interloop has attained greater flexibility and responsiveness imperative to the production of high quality socks in shortest possible lead times. Interloop has vertically integrated manufacturing facilities with own spinning and yarn dyeing for consistent availability of quality raw material.

The state-of-the-art knitting machines from Lonati (Italy), rotary dyeing machines from Flainox and Ghibli boarding machines provide greater flexibility to meet and exceed varied customer expectations.

Our quality management system gives us a competitive edge. A dedicated team of textile, chemical and industrial engineers in our Quality Assurance Department closely monitors quality of incoming raw materials and in-house production. Lean manufacturing principals of standardized work, Andon system, PDCA, and source inspection are being actively practiced.

Product Development (PD) Department of Interloop is equipped with 30 dedicated knitting machines. An addition of 60 machines is planned in the short-term. In parallel, we are building a Vertical Sampling Facility (VSF) with the aim to improving customer service by reducing sample lead time, improve sample FTT (First Time Through), and increase the quantity and improve the quality of dyed filament yarn to cater for enhanced focus on value added products.

Skill development in operations is a high priority. We are constantly striving to promote a culture of pride in craftsmanship. Our Technical Training Center is equipped with all the ingredients to develop high quality craftsmen and is one of its own kinds in the region.
