Interloop’s Lahore Facilities—LEED Platinum Denim Plant and Hosiery Plant—have earned the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) Gold Certification. This achievement marks Interloop as the only company in the global textile industry to currently hold this certification.

The AWS Standard is a globally recognised framework for improving water sustainability. It guides organisations in understanding their water use and impacts, promoting collaborative and transparent sustainable watershed management.

To tackle shared water challenges, Interloop is implementing the AWS Standard with a focus on reducing its water footprint, promoting water conservation, and implementing good water governance practices.

Interloop’s community-based water stewardship initiatives include the WASH Programme at Rosa Girls School and a drinking water plant at Social Security Hospital. Within our facilities, we have integrated innovative water-efficient technologies like Nanobubble Tech, achieving upto 90% reduction in our water use.
