Race to Zero – 1.93 MW Solar Parking Shed at Interloop Plant 5

Interloop is acting on climate change through adopting cleaner technologies, green buildings, energy conservation, and setting ambitious emission reduction targets across all businesses. As part of Interloops Vision2025 rollout, we are working towards a target of 25the % GHG emission reduction by the fall of 2026 through an investment in a large-scale rollout of renewable and clean energy. On our way to achieving this goal, we are pleased to announce our 1.9 MW Solar Parking Shed is complete and running.

Interloop Energy Division is working like a backbone of the entire organization. Every employee and machine efficiency is dependent on uninterrupted supply of electricity & steam. With energy costs & fuel availability being a significant challenge in coming years, and customers focusing on Sustainable Manufacturing, our energy division is in continuous pursuit of arranging the best possible power & steam generation solution that is also environment friendly. Simultaneously, with overgenerous targets of Interloop to expand its business units, Interloop is determined to fulfill these challenging targets & timelines efficiently using our resources. Interloop started its journey towards cleaner energy in 2015 with a 40.8 KW Solar System installation at Hosiery Plant 2. Our current clean energy production capacity at Interloop is now 7.863 MW. For us, this is just a beginning towards Race to Zero and a sustainable future for upcoming generations.
