On February 1, 2023, Interloop held Mid Year Review Business Planning Workshop at the Faisalabad Serena Hotel. The event was attended by top and middle management and the North America team to comprehensively review the first half of FY23 financial progress for each business unit, including Hosiery, Denim, Apparel, Yarns, and Activewear. The main objectives were to discuss key challenges in achieving full year targets amidst global recession, domestic economic and political uncertainty, and share outlook and projections for the next six months of FY23, along with the crossfunctional support required to attain them.
The CEO provided an overview of the global and local macro landscape, and business heads presented their respective businesses 1H financial progress and projections for H2 FY23. General Manager Finance presented the financial standing of each business unit, and the Group CFO joined to answer queries related to the company’s financials.
After a relaxing lunch break, participants were split into breakout groups for brainstorming sessions to present ideas to improve the company’s financial health and scenario planning based on the future macro outlook for the coming months. The workshop ended with the CEO emphasizing the importance of collaboration and achieving the company’s vision for 2025 amidst uncertain and challenging times, acknowledging the hard work and dedication demonstrated by each business unit.
