H.E. Mr. Neil Hawkins, Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan visited Interloop Industrial Park, Faisalabad on 9th Feb, 2023 where he met Interloop Limited’s leadership including Mr. Navid Fazil, CEO; Ms. Masooma Zaidi, VP Hosiery Sales; Saira Khan, SGM Strategic HR and Mr. Humayun Javed, GM Corporate Communications. The High Commissioner was accompanied by his wife Ms. Dianne Hawkins; Ms. Mairi Robertson, Second Secretary (Political); and Mr. Mateen Amin, Program Officer (PolEco) at the High Commission.
The Australian High Commissioner was briefed about Interloop Limited’s multicategory apparel manufacturing businesses as well as nontextile businesses under its associated company Interloop Holdings. He was apprised about Interloop’s ESG strategy and how it is rooted in its mission to become an agent of positive change. The High Commissioner took keen interest in learning about Interloop’s DE&I policies, and social responsibility initiatives for transforming lives through education, health care, and women empowerment. While walking through the production floors at Hosiery Plant 4, he praised the modern infrastructure, sustainability driven digitization and conducive work environment for the people. Both sides also discussed areas of mutual interest and learning and possible collaboration.
