Interloop Sponsored Pakistan Wheel Chair Cricket Team for Asia Cup 2019

Interloop joined hands with International Wheelchair Cricket Council as the official sponsor of the Pakistan Wheelchair Cricket Team in the Wheelchair Asia Cup 2019 held from 1- 5 May 2019 in Nepal between Pakistan, India, Bangladesh & Nepal.
Pakistan Cricket Team performed extremely well against their opponents in pool matches and managed to reach the final. Pool Matches were live streamed on the India TV’s social media handles whereas, the Final match was live telecasted by the local TV of Nepal. The final was played between Pakistan and India at Kathmandu Nepal. In a very exciting final game India batted first and set up a target of 212 runs in 20 overs. Pakistan played well and managed to chase the target with 5 wickets remaining. Mohammad Latif played the best innings by scoring 152 runs of 62 balls which led to the historical win. Man of the match, Mohammad Latif dedicated his win to his beloved nation and expressed that it was a great pleasure to score a century against India.
Chief Guest Keshab Kumar Bista, Secretary National Sports Council, Nepal along with Chultim Sherpa, President International Council of Wheelchair Cricket and Haroon Rasheed, Vice Chairman International Council of Wheelchair Cricket presented cash prizes, shields and trophies to the winner and runner up teams.
Government Officials and Pakistani Community in Nepal appreciated the team for this historic victory and acknowledged the role of Interloop Limited being the Official Sponsor of Pakistan Team.”
