Target Partnership Award

Target Corporation recognized Interloop Limited with the 2017 Partnership Award. Kellie Davies, Senior Director Target Sourcing Services, Accessories, made the announcement during the recent Own Brand Business Partner Summit in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

“Interloop is a partner that shares Target’s values when it comes to responsible sourcing and community development. To date, Interloop has supported 19 schools in the community where they do business. More than 2,600 students have benefited from Interloop’s community engagement efforts, and 46% of those are girls. Additionally, Interloop is currently helping 120 young women achieve a bachelor’s degree through an education scholarship fund. Interloop supports Target’s responsible sourcing goals by participating in the Better Cotton Initiative, and they’ve made the move to sustainable cotton without a cost increase. Interloop truly delivers on Target’s goal to deliver quality product at an affordable price, while making a positive impact on the world. At the awards reception following the meeting, they were greeted by Brian Cornell, Target CEO, who reiterated Target’s appreciation of Interloop’s leadership and commitment to responsible sourcing.
